Well oh well.. the latest Ikuta Toma Jdrama i'd watch is Maijo Saiban - Witch trial as Toru Yoshioka. There is another drama after that, Yonimo Kimyou na Monogatari 2009 Fall SP , but i haven't watch it yet.
From the drama ' Hanazakari No Kimi Tachi E', he plays main roles in a large quantity of dramas and is known as a young actor with actual strength . Do you still remember him as Nakatsu ? hahaha... Funny and humble it is..

He will appear on the Popular documentary TV programme 'Jounetsu Tairiku' (The passion Continent). The documentary will reveal his seven month life from june last year. Fans can find his unknown real face and how he would approach "hardliner/straightness/stoic" performance skill.
In the programme , viewers will see that how he stays in the hotel room and reads the script, going nowhere else; and when you think he is trying to become slimmer for having tofu and noodles only, he starts exercising and push up in order to play the character or fisherman.

1. Ningen Shikkaku -人間失格 -(No Longer Human ) - as Oba Yozo
It's a film based on a novel with the same title written by Osamu Dazai in 1948. It's considered Dazai's masterpiece and ranks as the second-best selling novel in Japan.
Ikuta Toma as Oba Yozo , a young man who finds it hard to relate to the world around him, but masks this sense of alienation with a jovial demeanor, still his life spirals toward self destruction.
2. Seaside Motel - シーサイドモーテル- as Kamedara
It's a romantic comedy that take place over the course of one evening at the oddly name 'seaside motel'. The motel is in fact surrounded by mountains with no water in sight. One evening , smooth talking swindler, Kamedara (Ikuta Toma) stops in for the night at the seaside motel. During the evening he comes across to a call girl name Candy (Kumiko Aso) ... whom he falls in love with....
3. Hanamizuki - ハナミズキ- (Dogwood) - as Gohei
Saki (Yui Aragaki) is a high school student who is studying for her college entrance exams. She hopes to enter a University in Tokyo. Gohei (Ikuta Toma) attend a specialized high school which teaches fishery. He hope to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.
These two young people meet and have a long distance relationship. Although their love is strong.... it does not last... 10 years later something miracle happens between them...
